A ‘few’ will strategize & the ‘many’ will execute.
Stability and your ability to take risks are inversely related. Organizations that seek a stable top management may eventually become low on innovation.
In a traditional business template, Business strategy was the prerogative of a privileged few (top management) & the bulk of the company manpower had to only execute. If a professional could not implement s/he was replaced but the strategy was seldom questioned. The top-management remained stable while the churn happened below.
In today’s dynamic & ever changing business landscape we need to ask our-selves if this is the way forward.
Few points to ponder:
PS: So next time you want tell any Entrepreneur that s/he is not a ‘fit’ for the organization just because s/he has not had a ‘linear’ career you just may have some courage to acknowledge the fact that you perceive him/her as a threat to your own ‘stable’ position. Any Entrepreneur who agrees to join your organization is a certain asset in ways not many can even imagine.
This ones’ for all Entrepreneurs’ out there trying to get back into the industry. We are working on a platform that will attempt to put Entrepreneurs back in the industry & with all the love & respect that they deserve. Watch this space for more..
