Every businessman finds himself with this dilemma at some point in his entrepreneurial journey. I’m sharing my personal views on the basis of my journey:
-Over the last 6 odd years that I’ve been an #entrepreneur I’ve had to close around 7 product lines. All these concepts were unique & we took them to the consumer with great excitement & effort. They did get me some name but these products failed to give me the bottom-line. In the interest of “survival” I had to shut them down.
Not one of our product or service has been a business disrupter till date. Disruption at the cost of burning cash just does not excite. Laying low, creating a niche & choosing to “survive” has been more important for us.
I think of #business #entrepreneurship as a Cricket Test Match. Its important to be on the pitch rather than give your wicket away chasing the wrong ball. Singles are vital & boundaries will eventually come.
Contrarian View: Train your-self-every day, work hard- every day, be focused- every day & you will certainly hit it some-day :)
All the best!
